2022 Christmas Newsletter

Your Committee would like to wish each and every Resident of “Felpham Fields”A Very Merry Christmas

Members + Residents of “Felpham Fields”,

I hope that everyone is fit and well and you have all managed to get through the thoroughly wet and rotten period of weather we experienced in November without incident. Now to Winter proper and the ice and snow. I today received a formal notice from WSCC of a Level 3 weather warning from Wednesday 7th

Monday 12th December so wrap up warm!

FELPHAM FIELDS PROJECTS: Notice Board: Your Committee have now found a suitable supplier for the Notice Board and will be placing business very soon with installation planned for the Spring.

Defibrillator Project; Investigations continue on the viability of the Defibrillator Project. Permissions for the Housing and powering of the equipment are proving complicated, at present there is no clear way forward to progress this project.

HANDBOOKS :All Members should now have received the new Members Handbook (Blue Issue) please have a read and keep this close to hand: the advice and instructions given in the document are there for everyone’s benefit and to upkeep an orderly Estate. If you require clarification on any point, then please do not hesitate to contact one of the committee or myself who would be glad to provide clarity/guidance if you have questions.

VERGE MANAGEMENT:- With the increased rainfall in recent weeks, it is a reminder that our grass verges play an enormous part in the drainage of surface water on our estate, we need to keep them functional and clear also for safe pedestrian access at all times.

VERGE PARKING: Residents are reminded of our Parking policy and that as a temporary measure and when it is not possible to park on your own private land then this is permissible to park across the driveway. For safety sake please keep vehicles off the road and on private property overnight, also please keep off of the grass verges, especially in this very wet weather we need to keep grass damage to an absolute minimum and please repair/re-seed any such damage should it be necessary. The Members Handbook on the web site https://felphamfields.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Version-5-Members-Handbook-FF-28-07-22-Master-v5.pdf outlines the parking policy and the few restrictions we have, if we can please remind ourselves of the few simple but important rules on parking on the estate it would be much appreciated.
