Dear Members of “Felpham Fields”.
SECURITY REMINDER
Your Committee would like to bring to your attention an incident that occurred earlier this month which involved the theft of personal belongings from a residents car parked on their driveway along with some attempted unsuccessful “car break ins” which were captured on householders CCTV in Tryndel Way, we believe that the incidents were by the same individuals over one night.
We remind every householder to be vigilant and to keep Garage doors, car doors and outside storage containers locked and regularly checked. Please keep “smart” Car Keys out of reach of detection devices ie as a minimum away from the doors and windows at night or in a safe if away for long periods of time.
The incidents occurred in Tryndel Way and Ley Road on the night of 2nd September with the theft being reported to the Police.
If anyone spots any suspicious behaviour Night or Day then do not hesitate to contact the Police at once.
SAFETY ALERT
On inspection of a section of concrete road slab in Ley road, it would appear that with the dry Summer we have had, there has been some movement of the concrete infrastructure, which is now uneven. Your committee are working on solutions to rectify this but for now the area concerned has been marked to make people aware of the unevenness and to take care when walking on that part of the road. Further work is envisaged to ascertain the cause and follow with reparations, if needed, as and when possible.
We all thank you for your continued support.
Your “Felpham Fields” Council Directors.
