Members of “Felpham Fields”.

Your Committee hope you are all well and for those of you that enjoy the sunshine, are enjoying this superb weather.

Some important information for you in this edition from agreements/News from the June 26 AGM:-

“New Blood” on the Management Committee.

Your Committee are keen to ensure that the running of the Company Business is conducted smoothly and that both Continuity and Contingency plans are in place to support this. To this end your Management Committee are calling for additional help to assist in the running of the two Annually Elected posts of Secretary and Treasurer. If anyone thinks they could help as an Assistant to either of these two posts and would like to join the committee, then please contact Keith the Secretary direct on 01243829439 or email secretary@felphamfields.co.uk. Additional positions (x2) of Director are allowable within our constitution these positions being of longer tenure and carry legal responsibilities, again should any member think they could take on a position of Director and would like to apply then please again contact Keith as above.

Management Fees 2026/27

Thanks to all that came along to the AGM it was a super turnout in what was sweltering conditions and your committee appreciate the input received and ideas & suggestions raised. The Draft notes of the AGM will be circulated soon to all members, but the main news to share now is that the membership agreed unanimously for the management fees to rise to £60 (Houses) £30 (Flats) for the period 2026- 27.

These fees fall due on 1st July but I would ask please to wait for the invoices to be issued as early payments into our account can cause problems. If anyone forecasts difficulty paying the fees then please do not hesitate to contact me to discuss alternative payment options.

Volunteer help Needed:-

Another request coming from the discussion at the AGM was the general request for more volunteer names to go on the help register ie to help with minor works (manning signs on road closures, weeding and drain and gutter management) Thank you to those that came forward at the AGM and to those that have come forward to volunteer help previously. For those that would like to help then please contact Keith Cowley 18 Ley Road who maintains the Volunteer register. Your committee really appreciate you coming forward as it shows that we all take pride in the upkeep of “Felpham Fields”.

Felpham Fields Estate Traffic Control (Phase 1):-.

The Members again discussed Traffic Control on Felpham Fields at the AGM and agreed to continue with Ad Hoc Road Closures over the coming period but with increased periodicity.

Off Road Parking

Thanks to everyone for adhering to our Parking Principles and keeping the roads clear by parking off road. This makes the estate a much safer place for pedestrians and vehicles alike. If anyone is looking to develop their front garden to expand their parking then please discuss with, our Secretary, first as there is some simple paperwork to fill in before a licence can be issued and any work can proceed.
