“FELPHAM FIELDS” DIRECTORS WISH ALL RESIDENTS A VERY

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Members of “Felpham Fields”.

Your Committee would like to wish you and your Families a Very Merry Christmas and a healthy and prosperous New Year.

The roads are full of Christmas cheer with all the lights up and it was so wonderful to see “The Christmas House” in its full splendour once again. I am sure everyone’s thanks go out to our Director and Ley Road representative Debbie Smallbones, for treating us all to the most fantastic light show at number 20 Ley Road. It was also fantastic to see some many people turn out for the lights switch on, 1st December, where over 70 people joined in some festive fun and reliving memories. Those residents who have lived here for some time will remember the effort that Debbie and Graham always put in to their annual Christmas display, which lit up the hearts and minds of all that passed along Ley Road. Debbie we thank you all for reintroducing the “switch on” to our calendars and we appreciate this must continue to be an emotional time of year for you. This year over £420 in donations at the current time have been  received in aid of St Wilfreds Hospice, to which Debbie and St Wilfred’s are really grateful for everyone’s generosity and support. Should anyone want to make a donation then please do not hesitate to contact Debbie directly or contact Keith the Felpham Fields Secretary.

General

  • Openreach have now finished providing Fibre service capability to the Felpham Fields estate and Fibre services can now be requested through BT and other ISPs. Residents are reminded that to provide Fibre to the Home if no direct duct to your home is/has been previously  provided, the contractor requires to Dig the final few yards to your property. NB* Anyone planning building works to their drives or boundary walls should bare this in mind when considering the timing of any request for new fibre provision to save any retrospective reparations of your private property.
  • Members are reminded that where works are being carried out on properties which impacts  the Felpham Fields assets (ie The Roads, Grass Verges and vehicle access traversing Verges)  the Company must be informed. If in doubt please contact the Secretary who can advise what Licences (if any) are needed before proceeding with any work.
