July 2020

Dear Ley Road, Duncton Close and Tryndel Way Residents,

The tremendous support continues and the forms and cheques for Joining & Membership of “Felpham Fields Residents Association Ltd” have continued to drop through the Secretary’s letterbox all this week. Your Directors thank you for the numerous offers of help and support, it is so encouraging that in such a short space of time we have been able to come this far. Your Directors are very grateful and continue to be amazed with the enthusiasm you have all shown to get this venture off the ground. The Secretary will be processing the forms this coming week and preparing Membership Cards for issue once cheques have been processed.

Bank Update:- Sadly the Banking sector have not raced back to work as quickly as some other sectors and we have had real difficulty in finding a Bank to take on our new business, but we seem to now have an application that is being progressed by a high street bank which we hope will soon enable us to present your cheques and for those that have struggled to find cheques books for joining and membership fees, to be able to do transfers for their sums. Watch this space.

Purchase Update:- Since the last Newsletter we have instructed our Solicitor, Jackie Scott (Licensed Conveyancer), to act on our behalf for the purchase of the Title Deeds for our roads, this is our first committed expenditure. She has engaged Jacqui Shilton’s solicitors, confirmed the Agreed Sale price and although there are delays being experienced in the Land Registry with the splitting of the Summerly Title Deeds, that does not stop Contracts being prepared for the Sale & Purchase of our Roads. Updates will follow when significant milestones are reached.

We are very encouraged when talking to home owners that it is understood; that as owners we all have a legal commitment to ensure the upkeep and maintenance of the roads and that with the creation of “Felpham Fields” this commitment can be administered and controlled “in our own hands” without outside interference and the potential uncontrolled costs that would accrue from an independent Managing Agent. There are now only a few Initial Joining & Membership forms awaited but our aim as your Directors, is to get everyone on board with this initiative.

Thanks for all the continued support.

Best Regards,

Your “Felpham Fields” Council Members:-
Chris Joyce – Tryndel Way Director and representative
Phil Hall – Duncton Close Director and representative
