AUGUST 2020
Dear Ley Road, Duncton Close and Tryndel Way Residents,
Your committee hope this issue of “Felpham Fields” finds you fit well and coping in these strange and difficult times. We are still beavering away in the background working on finalising the purchase of the Roads and in this issue we are able to update you all on a number of key activities that we are progressing.
Firstly your Neighbourhood Watch (NW) representatives have asked me to report that there was an incident in early August where an individual was seen trying to enter into parked vehicles on Ley Road (outside Leyton Court) and also in Tryndel Way, the individual was caught on numerous CCTVs trying car doors, the police were called and he was apprehended in Limmer Lane. The Police have promised to increase Police presence on “Felpham Fields” as a deterrent. Your NW representatives want to remind everyone to be vigilant and take precautions in making sure that your property is secure, but if anything suspicious is spotted then you should not hesitate in the first instance to call the Police.
Bank Update:- We have finally being able to open a Bank Account and I must thank everyone for your forbearance on my request for the re-issue of Initial Payment + Membership Cheques, they could not accept the shortened version of the Company name on Cheques and transfers. These very difficult times have meant that such a simple pre COVID task has been made to feel almost an impossible one but we now have a Bank Account open and are now depositing your cheques. Many thanks to those that have elected to pay via Bank Transfer this really helps me from an administration point of view. Members will shortly also be receiving Receipts for their payments along with a Membership Card showing your unique Membership Number which identifies the owners as Company Members of Felpham Fields Residents Association Ltd.
I urge those that still have outstanding payments to make, to please look to complete soonest. If anyone has any difficulty with making or understanding the payment options or needs help then please contact me.
Purchase Update:- Our solicitor has made good progress and we now have agreed the process for the purchase which starts with Title Transfers from Grey Dunes (Jacqui Shiltons Company). The Titles which we are purchasing now includes Numbers 11 & 15 Tryndel Way which means “Felpham Fields” now includes every property in Tryndel Way . Our solicitor expects the formal paperwork to take some time to come out of the Land Registry (COVID Delays) but the ownership of Title is expected to transfer to Felpham Fields Residents Association Ltd soon, possibly as early as September.
Thanks for your continued support and patience,
Best Regards,
Your “Felpham Fields” Council Members:-
Chris Joyce – Tryndel Way Director and representative
Phil Hall – Duncton Close Director and representative
Debbie Smallbones- Ley Road Director and representative
Keith Cowley – Director and Company Secretary
