2022 Summer Newsletter
Members + Residents of “Felpham Fields”,
INTRO: We hope you are all enjoying this delightful summer weather that we currently experiencing and that you are all fighting fit.
There is some important information in this Newsletter that your committee need to impart:-
2022 Annual General Meeting
This year’s meeting, which was very well attended, was held on Monday 13th June at the Felpham Memorial Village Hall. The minutes of that meeting will be issued in due course. At that meeting the Felpham Fields Estate Management Fees for 2022/23 of £30 for Houses and £15 for Flats, were agreed along with the Budget of expenditure for 2022/23. Members will shortly be receiving a request for payment of the Estate Management Fees; as always we would appreciate prompt payment.
Street Party :- A huge thank you to the ladies of the “Felpham Fields” Street Party Organising Committee for organising the first Social Gathering for Felpham Fields residents. The Street Party a super event, so well supported and attended held on Sunday the 5th June to Celebrate Her Majesty The Queen’s Royal Platinum Jubilee. Over 60 Adults and Children joined in the social fun and gathering whilst enjoying, music, games, food and beverages on the verges in Duncton Close. Special thanks go out to the residents of Duncton Close who hosted the event under a road closure from 1200 – 1600. A massive sum of £310.00 was raised from a Raffle and Silent Auction on the day, the proceeds going in aid of supporting those affected in the current Ukrainian conflict. The Organising committee want to thank everyone for their support and generosity, you the members who donated so many super prizes and also local businesses:- The Thatched House, Public House, The Beachcroft Hotel and Debbie Smallbones in donating such super prizes and Royal Ashdown Forest Golf Club for donating the round of golf for the silent Auction. LICENCE APPLICATIONS : Building works and skip placements continue to take place on “Felpham Fields”. Residents are reminded that details on how you apply for works and skip permissions can be found in your Members Handbook also on our Web Site at www.felphamfields.co.uk.
