Some important information for you in this edition:-
Thanks to all that came along to the AGM in June it was a super turnout (the biggest yet) and your committee appreciate the input received and ideas & suggestions raised. The Draft notes of the AGM have been circulated to all members if anyone has misplaced theirs and requires a copy then please let me know.
My thanks to all those that have paid their Management Fees on time; it really does help us manage efficiently. For those that have yet to pay the Management Fees for 25/26 agreed at the AGM are £40-00 House £20-00 Flat. Reminders have gone out to the handful of members that are outstanding. If anyone is having difficulty paying the fees then please do not hesitate to come back to me to discuss options.
One topic that created healthy debate at the AGM was the discussion on Traffic Control. The Principle of implementing traffic control measures along with the associated budget was AGREED at the AGM. Part of these measures include placing new Signage at both ends of Ley Road and in line with the requests from the membership concerning the wording proposed at the AGM, your committee have looked at suitable re-wording of the new signage in order to “tone down” the strength but still keep the emphasis and message that would deter non residential traffic from accessing “Felpham Fields” purely as a through route (Rat Run). New wording proposals for signage have been drawn up having been discussed and authorised as suitable with our Arun D.C. representative. Of the two authorised wordings Design A is favoured by your committee as it is the simplest and clearest, but members are now Balloted to choose from two of the authorised wordings using the Voting Form overleaf.
Please mark your choice in the box shown; choose either wording design A or B Print and Sign, along with your Membership Number OR Address and return your completed form to The Secretary 18 Ley Road, no later than 28th August 2025 when the Ballot will be closed and votes received counted.
Once a majorityhas been determined, order placement will take place and the new signage chosen will be provided in line with the authority given at the 2025 AGM.
